Join us for our Summer Camp for Beginner Riders, June 18th through 22nd, 2012!

A fun week with horses where campers learn all the basics to be safe on the ground and on horseback!  Monday begins with ground safety, leading, grooming, tacking and the beginning of riders safety. By Friday, the kids are showing off their skills learned throughout the week at the horse show and family BBQ. Running (or trotting) barrels and poles along with a western pleasure class to show their control of the horse and of themselves!

Throughout the week, the campers also are taught horse breeds and colors along with horse anatomy and the importance of healthy hooves. Stable management is also included in the week to teach that it's not all about riding, but caring for your horses environment as well.

The kids will also enjoy some old fashioned games and crafts and ton's of OtterPops!

The camp is restricted to 12 campers, co-ed, ages 8 and up.
The week long camp is a $350 tax-deductable donation with a minimum of $100 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot.
