The Hind Foundation presented Safe Haven with a very generous grant to build many steel enclosures for the safety and well-being of our rescued horses. This grant enabled Safe Haven to get rid of a large amount of the hot wire that we had been using for enclosures. Now our horses have safe and sturdy shelters!! The Hind Foundation was established on July 12, 2006 by Greg and Jane Hind to provide funding for important projects primarily in San Luis Obispo County and elsewhere in the State of California. Its purpose is the preservation of our cultural heritage with emphasis in music and visual arts, plant and wildlife conservation and historical restoration projects.
